Productively busy as usual, I just returned from the Dayton book Fair and a book signing in Columbus and will additionally sign books in Flint, Michigan and Louisville, Kentucky later this month. So far, unbelievable networking opportunities have presented themselves and I can’t wait to see what other divine connections the Holy Spirit will make.
Information gleaned from networking at the Dayton Book Fair was career changing. Talking with other authors was both educational and affirming. I left the event empowered and proud. And the experience was definitely what the doctor ordered after spending the long winter months attempting a delicate balance between home and work. As I’ve mentioned in previous blogs, I’m still figuring out the nuances of entrepreneurship. And I’ve definitely had some missteps along the way. Fortunately, God’s grace and mercy abounds!
Additionally, for those of you who are interested, Jacob’s Treasure, my second novel which tells Morgan Harding and Jacob McDonald’s stories was just completed! You might recall that Morgan is Destiny Harding’s older sister. And Destiny’s character was pivotal in both novellas found in From Faith To Faith. Once again, sin has no conscience in the lakeside community of Indigo Beach, Michigan and the Holy Spirit directs Pastor Deon in helping the spiritually immature grow in Christ. Look for its publication later this year!
Good-Bye for now,
M. Lyn Walker
